Potty Trained! (For the most part)

Ridley is now officially potty trained! There is the occasional accident, as is to be expected. However, she's doing great! She definitely needs to be reminded to go, but she's doing super great!

This being said, it's kind of a bum out. It means that she's that much closer to pre-school in the fall and even closer to being a four year old! I cannot believe that she is so old! It seems like it was very recently that I was freaking out I was even having a kid. Now she's extremely independent and such a big girl!

I'm very very proud to say that she's a mini version of me and Andrew. We couldn't have asked for a better little girl!

Potty Training, V. 2.0

Well, Ridley is finally wanting to wear "big girl panties" on her own. She has officially made it 24 hours without accident, but now that I've said it, she'll probably have one :)

It's been a struggle to get her potty trained. She's definitely at an age where she's not sure what she wants. Sometimes she wants to be just like all the other big girls. Other times she wants to go back to being a baby, like Harper. It must be very frustrating for her.

With a little luck and a lot of patience, we may get her potty trained yet!

Potty Training - The bane of my existence

I'm frustrated. Potty training sucks. Seriously. It's rough when you know your kid can do it, and she just won't. Ridley is said kid.

She's so darn stubborn!!! She knows when she has to go potty. She knows how to use the potty. She'd rather pee-pee in her pull-up than go to the bathroom.

Grrr....

Here's proof that she can do it.



So why won't she do it when she's supposed to?!?

My mom bought quite the neat little invention. It's called the Potty Watch. It plays music every 30, 60, or 90 minutes, depending on what you set it to. And it won't play music any other time, which is cool because it is supposed to remind her to try and go potty.

We'll see if this works. In the meantime, give me some suggestions. I need all the help I can get!
